This is not a book, but a complete course imparted by Steve Gimbel, available at audible. Mr Gimbel makes a learned, and entertaining journey through ALL modern science. Through that journey, members of each of the “two cultures” (science and humanities) will be rewarded with a detailed progression of the other: I being a lawyer, of course, I enormously enjoyed the science part. However outpouring the account of science through history is, there is always a sense of direction, a leitmotiv that unites all that knowledge: as the subtitle goes, Mr Gimbel´ purpose is to illuminate how modern science changed -and is changing- how we think not only about the proper realm of science, but about everything, about reality.
