Benjamin Black is back with a new adventure starring Quirke, this time taking place in San Sebastian. Aside from the fun of entering Spain during the dictatorship through the eyes of an Irish man, the novel does not represent the best example of crime fiction, though it does handle the tools of a proper detective novel. Only and especially recommended for those Quirke superfans.
